About Me

I am the owner, Director, and Consultant at Modern Strategies: Early Childhood Education

​

I hold Post-Secondary Degrees in Child Development and Business Administration from Alberta. I have held positions with Family & Social Services and Workers' Compensation Board consulting for families in distress internationally and was a member of a government initiative in Edmonton in which in my role as the child development consultant working with children with unique abilities and their families. In addition, I was the Owner and Director of a licensed private kindergarten and nursery school in Edmonton for over 30 years. In this role, I developed programs for children and regularly offered personalized consultations and workshops for families. I have since transitioned into the role of consultant and educator for young children and families.

In every role, I have invested much of my career in the creation and administration of programs that support the nurturing and growth of children and youth, and programs that promote family cohesion through personalized parenting strategies.
